ne of the easiest things to get done early and get out of the way, is to apply for your passport. Its as easy as filling out a form, getting your passport picture taken...and writing a check.
There are a few things you'll need to provide...like a form of ID and proof of citizenship. And if you've never had a passport before you'll need to apply in person.
Passports run around $75...more if you need it in a hurry. Processing times can vary depending on the State Department's workload so its best to get the passport done as soon as possible.

It's good to point this out. I can see how it would be so easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of everything else that needs to be completed, on top of just getting physically ready for baby, that one might forget to do this!!!
