cash and carry

Be prepared to carry some serious cash with you to pay for hotels, restaurants and other travel expenses.

W hen you're headed overseas the last thing you want to do is carry a wad of cash, but in this case its probably the best thing to do.
Even in today's modern age credit cards and travelers checks are still not widely accepted in many countries, like China and Russia. And ever where they're accepted, its not advisable to use your cards unless absolutely necessary.
Which means when you're traveling to find your child you need to be prepared to carry some serious cash with you to pay for hotels, restaurants, other travel expenses and to cover your adoption fees.
There are one simple way to keep your money safe. Divide it between you and your traveling companion and use a money belt or money pouch tucked under your clothes to store your cash.
