Size em up

Your 1-year-old may need to wear 6- to 9-month sized clothing.

U
nless you've met your child before, its going to be pretty hard to know what size clothes to pack for her.
Many of the children coming out of the orphanage system are small - at least by American standards. So its not necessarily accurate to go by the size of your neighbors 2-year-old. And in other cases, the height and weight info on her medical report may be flat out wrong.
Your 1-year-old may need to wear 6- to 9-month sized clothing.
To hedge your bets, pack outfits in a couple of different sizes...that way you're covered. You can always donate the extra clothes to the orphanage if you don't want to bring them home.

I had a horrible time finding clothes that fit my kids where they were little, and they were homegrown! Just didn't fit any manufacturer's mold, apparently. Sizes don't really mean much, even stateside.
