One of the most common mistakes couples make while gathering their dossier documents is not paying attention to the notary's signature.

There are a number of things that can go wrong - the signature not matching the stamp, the notary signing a different page from the rest of the signatures...

And an expiration date that comes too soon.

One thing you NEED to pay attention to is that expiration date.

Many countries require that your document (and therefore any signatures on it) be good for a certain length of time.

So if your notary's commission expires within the next year - find a new one.
