o international adoption journey would be complete without the home study.
While it sounds daunting, it really is a pretty simple, easy step in the process of bringing your child home. It just requires a little more time to complete.
One part of that homestudy will more than likely include an autobiography your social worker will ask you to complete. The autobiography can range anywhere from an interview, to a form or an essay that you write. Whatever it is, you need to do a thorough of a job as possible answering all of the questions.
Since international home studies have to be very thorough, it is critical that you provide as much information to your homestudy provider as possible. It will not only speed up the process (because the social worker won't have to keep coming back to ask you more questions) but it will show your child's home country you are committed to the process.
